A car or van under 2.70 m pays \u20ac2.55 on Attiki Odos (category II) and \u20ac2.50 at the Elefsina station on Olympia Odos. Check the departure point on ktelkorinthias.gr<\/a> before you travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are typically 8 to 11 departures a day each way, varying with the day. The first bus out of Loutraki leaves at 06:00; the last one back from Athens leaves at 21:10. One quirk: the 07:00 service from Athens is marked as a connecting (\u03b1\u03bd\u03c4\u03b1\u03c0\u03cc\u03ba\u03c1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b7) run, not direct. KTEL also runs separate winter (11 September\u201330 June) and summer (1 July\u201310 September) timetables, so a schedule saved in spring can be stale by August. Most guests who ask us about the train choose the bus or a car instead once they realise there’s a second leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A pre-booked private transfer is the simplest door-to-door option, and what our concierge arranges for most arriving guests. Pricing it yourself, be careful: the airport’s official fixed taxi fare, \u20ac40 by day (05:00\u201324:00) and \u20ac55 at night, applies to trips into central Athens, not Loutraki. A taxi from ATH to Loutraki runs on the meter at the out-of-town rate, published by several tourism sites at around \u20ac2.38 per kilometre; unconfirmed on any government page we could find, so treat it as an estimate worth checking with the driver, not a guaranteed price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This comes up in nearly every wedding or multi-villa enquiry, and it’s oddly hard to find written down anywhere. A standard Greek taxi is licensed for a limited number of passengers, so anything beyond a small family needs a pre-booked minivan, minibus or coach, operated under Greece’s tourist-transport licensing law (\u039d. 711\/1977) rather than ordinary taxi rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One thing you can plan around: on both Attiki Odos and Olympia Odos, vehicles with up to 15 seats toll at the car rate; anything larger pays the higher bus rate. The old bridge at Isthmia, just off the motorway before the Loutraki turn, has a pedestrian walkway over the canal and free parking on the eastern side, near a row of caf\u00e9s and souvenir stalls, with free entry and no ticket booth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We can’t give a precise detour time (nobody publishes one), but the exit sits right off the route you’re already driving, so it rarely feels like a real diversion. Some sources also mention a nearby submersible bridge that lowers for passing boats thousands of times a year, according to a Greek bridges reference site; we’re passing that along as background colour, not a verified figure, since we couldn’t confirm it against an official source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Central Loutraki is walkable: seafront, promenade and shops sit close together, so guests staying in town can manage without a car for a few days.
